NIU College of Law Students Make National Competition

DeKalb -- Third-year NIU College of Law students, Bruce Bonebrake and Tamorro Wilkins, took First Runner-Up Award honors at the 2004 Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition recently held in St. Louis, MO.  Sponsored by the National Black Law Students Association, twenty-two Midwest law school teams competed at the regional competition. Individually, Bonebrake received the Best Oral Advocate Award, and Wilkins received the highest individual score in a round.  Bonebrake and Wilkins move on to compete at the national competition to be held March 18-20 in Boston, MA.
