DeKalb, Ill. – Northern Illinois University College of Law hosted a group including alumni and a senior administrator to be admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States on May 24, 2010. The extraordinary day began at the Supreme Court with a private continental breakfast hosted by Dean Jennifer Rosato for the nine inductees and their guests. The awe inspiring ceremony was conducted by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and Alumni Council President Kate McCabe (’01) served as the movant for the group. Immediately following the swearing-in ceremony, Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg visited with the NIU Law group and welcomed the newest admittees to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court.
