Project Management - An IFMA Based Competency Course

Facility managers make use of all aspects of project management beginning with planning, scoping, scheduling and ending with evaluating. Project planning and management are core skills in facility management. The skills are particularly important because of the wide range of projects assigned to the facility organization. Projects vary in scope, complexity, duration and financial risk.

Why Should You Attend?
FMP Candidates - This is one of four courses required to earn your Facility Management Professional (FMP) credential from IFMA.  For more information on the FMP credential click here

CFM Candidates - This course is designed for Facility Management professionals seeking to enhance their skills in the specialty area of project management. To earn your Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, project management has been identified by IFMA as a core area of skills and knowledge necessary for a successful facility manager.  If you are seeking your CFM and require additional development in this area, you'll want to take this course.  For more information on the CFM credential click here.

Fees include IFMA course materials, continental breakfast, lunch and break service. NIU will ship course materials to students 7-10 days prior to start of each class. Participants registering within 5 days of class start will need to pick up materials from the course instructor at the first class session. Register up to two weeks prior to secure a seat.

Register at least two weeks prior to start of course date to avoid $100 late registration charge.
