Sigma Tau Delta's Website: It just looks new.
Welcome to the new school year and welcome to our "new" website. We have updated the website with a fresh new look and easy navigational tools. We hope you like it!
What's new?
First, the Sigma Tau Delta seal and typography have been updated. The graphic files for the new seal and how to use the seal are now posted on the website.
Second, we have created a one-stop web page just for chapters. Click on the Resources for Chapters tab found on the horizontal menu bar at the top of the homepage. Everything you need to know, want to know, or didn't know, is on this page! We welcome your feedback. Please email Elfi Gabriel with your comments and suggestions.
Third, chapters can now enroll new members in Write Away!, Sigma Tau Delta's online chapter management system.
In Write Away!, chapters can
- Enroll new members
- Pay induction fees by credit card (or snail mail a check the old-fashioned way)
- Update chapter sponsor information
- Update chapter officer information
- Maintain membership lists of both current and inactive members
- Maintain email lists of chapter members and officers
- Login to the chapter's secure website. All of the functions above are administered in the chapter's secure website. Each chapter will be assigned a user ID and temporary password. Chapter sponsors will receive their chapter's login/passwords by the third week in August.
We know all this new stuff is exciting, but can be a little frustrating. Online help will be available, as well as email and phone support. Email Elfi Gabriel, our website facilitator, at egabriel@niu.edu or call 815-753-1612.
