Southwestern Region
Journal Title - The Open Ear of the Universe
Call for Entries
Submission Due Date: December 21, 2009
The Southwestern region is proud to announce the creation of its first region-wide creative arts journal, which will be called The Open Ear of the Universe. The journal will be published in the early spring, and copies will be available at the convention. But before we get there, we need editors and, more importantly, submissions! The first edition will focus solely on poetry, so, all you aspiring poets, send us your work! Please send an email with your name, university, and chapter name to openearoftheuniverse@gmail.com. Attach the poem as a Word document, but please be sure to not put your name anywhere on the actual creative submission! The deadline for submissions is December 21, 2009. Anyone whose work is accepted for publication will be sent two free copies of the journal. Extra copies will be available at the convention in March.
